Open the large chest for the Dark City Map (Treasure #8). They don't have equipped Abilities, but the stats are higher. There are two new weapons at the Moogle shop: the Wisdom Wand for Donald, and the Knight Defender for Goofy.

Continue on to The Brink of Despair, and some scenes. To the left is the pathway forward, as well as a Mythril Crystal (Treasure #5) and a Mythril Stone (Treasure #7). To the right of this position is a chest (Treasure #6) with an AP Boost. Turn him slightly to the right, so he is facing the building, and ascend either staircase to get the crown (Piece #1) that is hovering above them. It has an effect on Drive Forms please see the KH2: Tips & Tricks page for more information.Īfter the scenes, Sora will be standing in the center of the arena. You've been saving them for this long, so use them! Ethers too!ĭefeating Member XIII rewards Sora with Secret Ansem Report 8 and the Two Become One Keyblade. Use your items! With no friend to use healing abilities, Sora only has Curaga and various Potions for healing. Watch out for the Reversal prompt to keep the Keyblades it is extremely fast. The two additional Keyblades will attack with Sora, and will stay with them until Member XIII tries to take them back. This steals Member XIII's two Keyblades, Oathkeeper and Oblivion, and gives them to Sora. There is an excellent Reaction Command, similar to the one provided by the Samurai Nobodies, where Sora has to quickly select The End from his action menu. These will combo with each other and can quickly take out all of Sora's HP. Start moving around the outside of the stage, avoiding the energy balls that he throws at Sora. The real challenge begins when Member XIII teleports to the center of the stage and summons a rather impressive light show. The first part of the battle is fairly straightforward: dodge or block attacks, and get in some nice combos of your own. The best thing you can do is accept that you will lose this fight a couple of times before you win, so use the first attempts to learn the enemies' attack patterns, and learn when to block. Up next is a boss fight, and it is generally considered one of the most difficult but enjoyable fights in the game, if not the series.īefore even getting to the Boss Battle window, I will give you this piece of advice: learn to block. Shadows will appear as Sora opens each chest.īefore heading through to the next area, Memory's Skyscraper, I highly consider returning to the Alley to Between and using the save point there to replenish HP and MP. At the next arena-like area, jump onto the raised platforms for an AP Boost and an Orichalcum (Treasures #3-4). Equip Bond of Flame, spam Firaga, maybe use an Ether, and wrack up the experience.įollow the path through the city, opening the first chest you see for a Mythril Stone (Treasure #1), then approach the opposite corner for a Mythril Crystal (Treasure #2). This area is phenomenal for leveling up Wisdom Form.
